Mike is the corporate leader of Hoosier Energy Economic Development. He has managed the program for many years and generated remarkable success.
He has extensive experience with transportation issues. Mike has served as economic development project manager at Conrail, project manager at the Transportation Institute of the Indiana University School of Business, and director of the Indiana Transportation Planning Office.
He created a database of economic development sites within the Hoosier Energy member service territories. He has also helped many of the company’s largest customers build new plants and expand their businesses.
Mike is also active in rural economic development. He has served on the board of the Indiana Rural Development Council (IRDC), the Southern Indiana Rural Development Project (SIRDP), and the national Rural Economic Development Association (NREDA). He is also a member of several professional organizations for rural economic development.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University.
