Highway Transportation

I-65: I-65 runs from Gary, Indiana in the Northwest, through Indianapolis and then through Louisville, all the way to Mobile, Alabama. Northward, I-65 is the main connection between Indianapolis and the Chicago metro area.

I-70: I-70 is an east-west interstate that runs directly through Indianapolis and connects with I-57 in Illinois to lead to Chicago before heading west all the way to Utah. I-70 connects Indianapolis to metros such as Columbus, Ohio, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the east and Denver, Colorado to the west.

I-64: For southern Indiana transportation, I-64 is paramount. I-64 runs from St. Louis, Missouri, through Indiana, to Louisville, Kentucky and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I-74: I-74 runs diagonally from Iowa, through Indianapolis, northwest to southeast, and offers direct access to Cincinnati, Ohio.
